So, happy birthday! Happy 60th! Quite the milestone!
To celebrate I made you a coffee scoop and butter paddle 🤣 I didn’t have 60th in my mind when I landed on your gifts…sorry they are so quant. You also got a half-pound of freshly roasted Costa Rican coffee (roasted on 11/24/2020). I hope you enjoy the coffee, and please make sure you scoop it with your new coffee scoop. The butter paddle was something I wanted to try and figured you would appreciate using with your bread. Works best with soft butter (margarin or even better, softened butter butter). Both the scoop and paddle have been field tested…they both work! Photos and video below show the process of each. I hope you enjoy them!

Unfortunately I do not have much to show as far as process related photos are concerned. This photo, the one below, is where your items came from. This is cherry wood I found while on a walk with Mozzie over the Summer.
From there I use my axe and club to get the piece down into a workable size. Once at a good spot as far as size is concerned Mozzie is safe to join me :-)
From there it is just a process of whittling with my knives.
Next up is the butter paddle, useful for buttering just about anything!
